THESYRE Continuing Work On 'Résistance'

September 28, 2008

Eric M. Syre, vocalist/bassist for Quebec-based black metallers THESYRE, has issued the following update:

"We sent a preview of the [new THESYRE] album's ['Résistance'] artwork as well as two rough versions of two songs to Osmose, our current label. Not only have we received their approval but we're both looking forward to an album blending older, current and newer elements for THESYRE, eventually making it our most accomplished work yet.

"My brother and I recently recorded some electronic sections using a Korg R3 synthesizer. I also used a Moog Etherwave Theremin on one song. I might add more textures with it on other songs soon.

"I plan adding various percussions and effects here and there while waiting for the guitars to be completed. Bass and vocals should follow."

THESYRE's third album, "Exist!", was released in 2006 via Osmose Productions.
